Painting Diary

　　(i) During my painting creation for over 40 years, I poured my warm blood of soul, affection and desire and benevolence into my paintings, telling my voice of heart and hoped that others can feel my love and warm, gain power and discover hope.

　　(ii) If you love the world, life and people, please love yourself first. If you can make yourself powerful, valuable and loved by others, then your love is true.

　　(iii) Trueness and honesty is consciousness, is diligence and is a good medicine for curing social evils, only a true and honest nation is hopeful.

　　(iv) When people could not speak and had no characters, the earliest external measure for thought expression at the beginning of differentiation from other animals, is that they could paint figures capable of consciousness expression.

　　The onimal called numan evolved into the current existing status with the increase in the forms of constantly expressing their wishes.

　　(v) The highest state of art is trueness and honesty.

　　(vi) I like colors, but I am tight with use of colors, because you shall explain the reason for use of any color, otherwise why did you use it?

　　(vii) I also wish to be free and refined in use of brush, but whenever I faced oppressive themes, the brush in my hand became extraordinarily heavy, I could only portray my painting in the dim room like a craftsman and chase my memory with my style of thickness and bitterness instead of taking any chance.

　　(viii) The biggest skill of painting is thought. Thought determines painting quality and success or failure of painting like a general’s strategic map. Also, it is helpful to expressing colors and brush use of your thoughts to accomplish ultimate perfection. We can in no event put the cart before the horse.

　　The best appearance of painting shall be simple and nature. This is what many painters can dream of but cannot get, because it is not the case of painting, but the case of personal quality.

　　If my paintings have conveyed my thoughts and emotions, this is exactly the goal and success of my paintings.
